09/25/2008 CWA ratification vote
Notice has
been sent , as of September 22 ,2008 from District One of the Communications Workers Of America, that
the collective bargaining
agreement between CWA and Verizon Communications has been ratified.
They have also notified us that the 3.25 % raises will be in your checks
dated October 30th 2008. Beginning Sunday Oct. 19th the company will
calculate the new wage increases, and it will be reflected in the
payroll period ending Oct. 25th. All retro payments will be made in the
payroll check dated Oct 30th, 2008.
